Christmas Ride to Gundaroo

We seem to have started a tradition of cycling to our Christmas lunch venue, following our ride to Collector for lunch last year.
On Friday the 18th we donned the lycra again and made our way to Grazings at Gundaroo. Marg, Josie, Megan and our ever reliable "fix it man" Pete made light work of the shorter course of 32 kms this year. The 2009 additions to ‘Team Northside’ are Kate, Jess and Casey. Jess and Casey powered along and you would not have guessed that they hadn't done the distance before. Unfortunatley Kate was unable to make the ride due to a minor mishap on the dance floor the previous night! Our newest addition is of course Baby Ava O’Shea who at 7 months is not quite ready for the bike but came with Marita, who again had a good excuse not to ride.
We feel now we can indulge on the 25th having done the pre-Christmas exercise. We hope to continue our cycling efforts into 2010 and who knows where we will have Christmas lunch next year........
