Answers

Q.  What should I wear when I come for treatment?

We recommend you wear comfortable clothing. Depending on the area that we are treating you may be required to remove certain items of clothing so we can examine you.

Q.  Do I need a referral?

A referral is not necessary for private patients.

For workers compensation cases a referral from your GP or medical specialist is usually necessary.

We have a close working association with local GP’s, sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons to ensure the best quality care.

Q.  How do I pay for my treatment?

Payment is to be made at the time of your consultation. We have a HICAPS system which allows direct access to payment from your health fund leaving the gap amount for your attention. We have EFTPOS facilities.

If you are claiming your treatment as part of a workers compensation case or motor vehicle accident we require a written confirmation from your insurance company that treatment has been approved. Until this is received you will be responsible for payment. Please discuss this with our reception staff
